Meet The Staff
The surgical staff at Tendler Center for Oral Maxillofacial & Implant Surgery are experienced, certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who assist in administration of IV sedation and surgery. All staff are informed administrative personnel, well-versed in health and insurance policies, and are CPR certified. Jennifer recently joined Dr. Tendler in 2017 after moving from New Jersey to Sunny South Florida. She has extensive experience in the dental field and worked the last 10 years in an oral surgery office. She enjoys the challenges and energetic environment of an oral surgery practice and uses her gifts of compassion and hard work to meet the challenges. She is present for our patients the moment they walk through the door to the end of their treatment. She will navigate every aspect of a patients care from beginning to end. She is proud to promote the best care possible and support our professional referrals with all their oral surgery needs.
Jennifer is from the Dominican Republic and lived most of her life in New Jersey. She is joined in South Florida by her husband, Marcos, and her daughter Victoria. In her free time Jennifer enjoys shopping, travelling, and spending time with her family.
Caroline is the newest addition to our administrative team! She is our patient care coordinator. Caroline has worked in the dental profession since 2009 and has extensive experience in the fields of Orthodontics and Endodontics. She has also learned every aspect of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. Caroline is one of the first smiles you encounter when you visit our office. Her warm and caring attitude set the tone for your office experience. She is BLS and AED certified.
Caroline is originally from Knoxville, Tennessee. She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University and began working immediately in the dental field. Caroline, her husband Blake, and her two children moved to Florida in 2013 to start a church. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with family, baking, singing, and photography.
Carlos was born in Havana, Cuba and came to the United States in search of better opportunities. He graduated in 2013 with a degree in general dentistry and completed additional training in Oral Maxillofacial surgery from the Hospital of Calixto Garcia in Havana, Cuba. Carlos is also our implant coordinator and maintains and updates our implant inventory. He is passionate about oral surgery and this is evident every day at work. Carlos provides various aspects of patient care from providing instrumentation to Dr. Tendler during surgery, to monitoring vital signs, and taking x-rays and CT scans. Carlos also has a certificate in surgical assisting from The American Board of Surgical Assistants. He is also BLS and AED certified. In his spare time, Carlos enjoys watching soccer and spending time with his wife and daughter, Yani and Lianna. Carlos enjoys staying up to date with the newest surgical techniques that Tendler Center offers and providing the best care for every patient.
Lily began working for Dr. Tendler in 2006, she has been an oral surgical assistant for 13 years. Lily has also worked as a medical assistant performing phlebotomy, taking vital signs, and triaging patients. Lily provides instrumentation for Dr. Tendler in surgical procedures, she monitors vital signs during IV Sedation and general anesthesia procedures, and prepares patients for their surgical procedures. She also takes xrays and CT scans. She is BLS and AED certified. She strives on a daily basis to make sure every patient has a positive experience in our office and receives the highest level of surgical care.
Lily was born in Cali, Colombia and has lived in Florida since 2010. She earned a degree from Everest institute for medical assisting and she received her dental assisting degree from NY University School of Dentistry. Lily lives with her two adult daughters, Katherine and Monica. She enjoys spending time with her family and watching movies in her spare time.
Beni entered the dental field in 1979 and has extensive experience in Periodontics, Endodontics, General Dentistry, and Oral Surgery. She has been a surgical assistant for many years and is a natural caregiver which makes her clinical role as a surgical assistant a perfect fit. Beni provides the instrumentation for Dr. Tendler in surgical procedures. She also prepares patients for their procedures as well as taking X-Rays and CT scans. She is BLS and AED certified. Beni was born in Colon, Panama and lived in Brooklyn, New York most of her life. She has three adult children and three grandchildren whom she loves spending time with. In her spare time, Beni travels to other states and countries to promote preventative dentistry by teaching and donating dental supplies to local schools and senior communities.
Kim began working for Dr. Tendler in 2016 as a surgical assistant. She has worked in the dental field since 2013 and has found her greatest interest to be in oral surgery. She is responsible for providing instrumentation for Dr. Tendler during surgical procedures. She also provides aspects of patient care such as taking vital signs, taking CT scans, and taking impressions. She helps to prepare patients for their surgical procedures by reviewing any preoperative questions they may have. Kim is in the process of becoming DAANCE (Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification Exam) certified and is certified in basic life support.
Kim was born in South Florida and has Guatemalan and Colombian background. In her free time, Kim loves travelling, going out with friends, and spending time with her boyfriend Matt and their puppy.
